Happy Birthday to Aine!!!

Aine and Daddy blowing out her birthday candles! I cropped out a very cross Conor over there, LOL! He wasn't happy that he couldn't help Aine blow out the candles this time.

She had a great party with friends Conor, Liam, Shauna, Kieran, and Joanne...and scored some books, a puzzle and some clothes. We bought her a bike, a Dora bathtub set, and an umbrella...when asked by Auntie Roisin and Uncle Jim what she got for her birthday, did she say bike? Nope. Umbrella. Go figure!!

Less than a week till we head to the States, hard to believe! 

Night Night

Aisling insisted on wearing her poncho and aran hat to bed last night (we took them off before she got in her crib!)... Here is Daddy reading to the girls before tuck in time... 

My Two Beauties

I am working on a photo wallhanging for my mom for Christmas and needed a new photo of the girls for it. This isn't a studio photo! Dave took this photo of the girls sitting on my lap and I airbrushed myself out of it, LOL!! I did a few funky effects on it, and am really happy with it!!

They are so grown up these days, and Aine will be three tomorrow!!! We gave her her bike early, and she was riding it up and down the hall tonight, but she was nearly more excited by the party hats I got her. She'll have a few friends over tomorrow and she's really looking forward to her party with Uncle B next week!

We're getting excited about our trip, Aine got a new pack of crayons and markers for the plane...I'm just hoping Aisling doesn't go nuts, she's got so much more of a temper than Aine. Aine never stopped moving at that age, but was pretty even tempered...

Anyway, more later...photos of the party tomorrow!

Here is Aisling who has co-opted her sisters Dora jacket (fits her better, is tight on Aine, despite being sized 3T!!) and is wearing her sister's high heel dress up shoes...what a fashion plate!!

Dave heard back from one job late this evening, he got the job!!! We wait till tomorrow to find out details as in salary etc... He is still hoping for the other job to come through as well and be able to look at both over the weeken. Keep all those fingers crossed just a little longer, but we are pretty happy here!!

I am working on designing a Travel Photography course for one of my clients, and am working on Installment 5, so lots of work for me tonight... better get back to it!!

Halloween antics

Here are the ever together buddies, Conor and Aine, dressed up and trick or treating at Conor's neighbor's house. Aine LOVED trick or treating, even though we only went to two houses!!

She was very good and is looking forward to it again next year!

We had Dave's mom, Maura down for the weekend and had a nice visit with her. The kids loved playing with her and we had nice chats in the evenings after the kids went to bed... Queen of multi-tasking, I was usually sewing, chatting and watching a movie at the same time! I managed to get Maura out in the hot tub last night...so many stars!!! Tonight it is raining, but I'm beat, so I'll be heading to bed shortly.

I'm going to put another cute photo up of Aisling and Conor's sister Holly having a smooch...a step in the right direction as Aisling usually tackles and kills Holly instead!
